Mr. Richard K.C. Mak, CFA
Mr. Richard Mak, CFA, is the Head of Product & Business Management – Asia of Pictet Wealth Management since January 2020. He is responsible for the product development and business risk management of the Asia Investment Platform. He joined Pictet in 2011 to lead the Asia Advisory Team to provide investment advices to high net-worth investors in Asia. Prior to joining Pictet, he was the Head of Advisory-Asia at BNP Paribas Wealth Management.

Richard has over 30 years of experience in financial industry with 17 years in equity investments and has been advising private clients on global investments since 2003.

Richard holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute since 1993. He is the current President of CFA Hong Kong Society and served as the President Council Representative of Asia Pacific Region of CFA Institute from 2004 to 2008. He is also the Chairman of Men’s Section of Hong Kong Hockey Association.

He graduated from The University of Hong Kong with the Bachelor of Social Sciences.
Mr. Alvin M. Ho, CFA
Vice President and Society Secretary
Mr. Alvin Ho, CFA, is an experienced investment principal with demonstrated track records in private equity. He is skilled in PE-styled investing, deal structuring, due diligence, corporate finance, IPO, and business reengineering. Acting as a managing director of a private investment vehicle, he looks to invest in several high growth sectors. Besides serving as a board member for several listed companies, he is also a member of the investment committee for AngelHub, HK’s first SFC regulated investment platform. Alvin has authored two books in Chinese on the economics of sports, the latest being《超級巨星經濟學》 (or Superstar Economics). Alvin was previously the legal representative or executive representative for the local currency funds incorporated in Beijing and Chengdu, and the Head of China for the private equity growth fund managed by the CLSA Capital Partners. The latter’s portfolios include companies that have grown into blue-chip status in various jurisdictions in Asia.

Alvin holds various post-graduate degrees from Tsinghua University and London Business School. He is currently an advisor to the program of the Department of Economics and Finance of the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong.
Mr. Charles Chui, CFA
Mr. Charles Chui, CFA, is a seasoned investment professional with 19 years of experience in the private banking and wealth management business; major strengths in equity and fixed income analysis with qualifications as both a CFA and a CPA Australia charterholder. He has exposure to major international European investment bank and Swiss private banking business, with major functions in overseeing the North Asian (including Japan) economics and capital market asset allocation decision. Charles is also equipped with long term track record in investment advisory services, with the goal of enhancing investment returns of high net worth individuals and corporations while at the same time optimizing their overall portfolio’s risk and return profile.
Ms. Ashley P.W. Khoo, CFA
Ms. Ashley Khoo, CFA, is an asset management and investment banking professional with comprehensive buy-side and sell-side experience, inclusive of portfolio management, fundamental/quantitative/pre-deal research covering Asian and China markets, multi-asset class investment, and Big 4 financial advisory with financial institutions.

Khoo is a board member of The Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts, spearheaded launch of Asset Owner Series in Hong Kong—the first city outside of New York. She is currently the Chairperson of Continuing Education Committee’s full day workshop, Co-Chair of ESG Special Interest Group, Industry Relations Committee and Women in Investment Management Special Interest Group. Khoo is CFA Institute’s Presidents Council Governance Committee Member, Honorary Advisor and Investigation Committee Member of Financial Reporting Council, and Expert Advisor, Council Member and Vice Chair of Investment Committee of Institute of Financial Technologists of Asia.

Khoo holds a Master of Economics degree from The University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University Bloomington, with a double major in Accounting and Computer Information System. She is a CFA and CPA charterholder.
Mr. Alfred Lau, CFA
Mr. Alfred Lau, CFA, has been the Investor Relations Manager at MTR Corporation since 2018. Prior to joining MTR Corporation, he was the Executive Director, Head of Property & Gaming Research at BOCOM International Research.

Alfred has over 15 years of experience in financial industry, with 12 years in sell-side equity research.

Alfred holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute since 2009. He is also FRM and CESGA Charterholder. He graduated from The University of Hong Kong with the Bachelor of Economics and Finance.
Mr. William H.P. Leung, CFA
Mr. William Leung, CFA, is a Partner and member of the Investment Committee at Overlook Investments.

William joined Baring Asset Management in 2003 as an Investment Analyst and joined HSBC Asset Management in a similar role in 2004. In 2005, he joined Acru Asset Management to work with a former colleague from Baring. At Acru Asset Management, he had responsibility for co-managing the Acru China Absolute Return Fund, a value driven, Greater China hedge fund. In 2015, he established Fundatech Capital, his own boutique investment fund which invested, long/short, in Asia. William is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder. William joined Overlook Investments in 2017, re-uniting with a former colleague from Baring once again.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce, with Honours, in Finance from the University of British Columbia in 2001 and followed that by gaining a Master of Science in Financial Engineering at Columbia University in 2002. William is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder.
Prof. Raymond H.C. Tsang, CFA
Mr. Raymond Tsang, CFA, is currently an Associate Professor of Practice at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and a Founding Fellow of the CUHK Engineering FinTech Applied Research Academy. Besides teaching in the areas of financial engineering and financial technology, he has been providing career advice for students, as well as performing liaison work linking up the industry and the academia. Before joining the academic world, Raymond was a rate derivatives trader at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, BNY Mellon, Susquehanna International Group and Bank of Canada. He has covered markets in Canada, United States and the Asia Pacific region.

Raymond received his Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and Management Information System at McGill University, Canada and Master of Science degree in Financial Mathematics at the University of Chicago, USA. He is a CFA Charterholder and a Financial Risk Manager (FRM). Raymond is a HKFA License D football coach and have been actively involved in other sports activities.
Mr. Adam T.Y. Wong, CFA
Mr. Adam Wong, CFA, is currently an Executive Director in a global bank. Before that, he was an Ultra High Networth Banker and co-chair of Asia Advisory Council of JP Morgan Private Bank advising Asia CEO and COO on various core issues including tech innovations, adoptions and business efficiency.

Adam is one of the co-founders of the running team as well as the Mentorship Programme of CFA Society Hong Kong. He also chairs Continuing Education Committee and Member Services Committee - Networking Events Sub-group.

Adam graduated from University of Hong Kong majoring in Economics and Finance with First Class Honours. Adam is a CFA Charterholder, FRM and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner. He is passionate about triathlon, tech innovation, reading as well as mentorships.
Ms. Felicia C.W. Wong, CFA
Ms. Felicia Wong, CFA, is currently a Vice President in the Internal Audit Division at a leading US investment bank, with primary coverage in Institutional Securities Sales & Trading business. She has over ten years of experience in the financial industry including prior work experience at Goldman Sachs (Asia) LLC providing audit coverage in Institutional Securities and Risk Management during 2012-2015. Prior to that, she was with Bank of Montreal in Toronto as an Audit Manager and Quantitative Specialist, and later transitioned to Capital Market Treasury providing risk oversight on liquidity and funding before moving to Hong Kong in 2012. Felicia is a CFA charterholder and an FRM. Felicia holds a Master of Mathematical Finance from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Waterloo.
